Email Etiquette training is next on the agenda for Berriman Eaton

 

 

 

 

HAMILTON Mercer will be continuing its partnership with property firm Berriman Eaton this month, training staff members on the art of email-writing.

 

The west-midlands based firm previously received training in May on Enhancing the Customer Experience. Now its team will be following up what they learned by attending a course on Email Etiquette.

 

The course will teach learners useful techniques and important skills around how to write an effective email, from subject line to sign-off.

 

Berriman Eaton, which has offices in Shropshire, Staffordshire and Wolverhampton, said one of their major goals for the learning programme is to create a more personal experience for its customers.

Hamilton Mercer’s Head of Learning and Development Simon Scofield said: “Email is a vital tool for any business. It has been estimated that 205 billion emails are sent every day worldwide and this is expected to reach 246 billion by the end of 2019.

 

This is a communications tool that will only become more indispensable to businesses and their customers.

 

But with so many emails being sent every day it can be easy to lose sight of the importance of a personal touch in communication; especially when it comes to customer service. Knowing how to write an email properly is an increasingly important ability and one that can make a real difference.
